Best Focus Apps for ENEM Preparation in Brazil
Your phone can open the lesson or steal the entire afternoon. ENEM preparation needs those two functions separated. Keep the material within reach and take the feed out of the session.
One setup for each part of ENEM study
| Activity | Keep available | Protect this output |
|---|---|---|
| Content revision | Notes, flashcards and the required lesson | One topic and a short question set |
| Questions and mocks | Paper, clock and required practice resources | The continuous window you chose |
| Redação: the essay | Prompt, editor or paper | Planning, drafting and reviewing as separate stages |
| Correction | Answer key, explanation and error log | Understand the reason for each mistake |
Pomodoro to start; actual timing to simulate
Use 25 minutes to begin a subject you have been avoiding. Do not insert automatic breaks into a mock that is meant to reproduce examination conditions. Check Inep’s current instructions and official papers; a productivity app does not set the examination format or rules.
For redação, decide the output before starting: a plan, a complete draft or a revision. If every session begins by deciding what to study, organisation becomes another way to postpone the work. Leave the next question ready before the break starts.
Choose control or task management deliberately
FocusComet makes selected apps disappear temporarily. Compare AppBlock and Stay Focused if detailed restrictions are the main need. Compare Focus To-Do and Engross if the task list and timer matter more than removing icons. If your lesson and entertainment feed share one app, reorganise how you access the lesson; a whole-app restriction cannot distinguish their content.
International students in Brazil
Do not assume ENEM is the required route for every international applicant or student in Brazil. Check the institution’s admissions route and, once enrolled, the actual course-assessment brief. The same protected question, writing and review blocks also work for university assignments without calling them ENEM preparation.
Pick the app for your ENEM study problem
| Need | Compare | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Instagram and TikTok break every exercise list | FocusComet | No icons to tap until the session ends |
| Detailed app and website rules | AppBlock or Stay Focused | Granular schedules and strict settings |
| A study schedule across many subjects | Focus To-Do or Engross | Tasks and timer side by side |
| A visual reward | Forest or FocusComet | Trees or a growing universe |
Your ENEM year, phone included
ENEM is usually held on two Sundays in November, each a long day of questions plus the redação. That makes it a test of stamina as much as content, and your phone can either train that stamina or drain it.
Through the year: schedule a daily session for video lessons and exercise lists. Simulados: sit each one at real timing in one continuous session while Vanish Mode clears Instagram, TikTok and games off your screens. October and November: use Allow-only for revision days, keeping just your course platform, notes and WhatsApp for family, and use Hard lock for the night before each exam Sunday.

FocusComet if the phone keeps winning: Vanish Mode takes the tempting apps off your screens for the session. For website rules, AppBlock or Stay Focused; for a subject-by-subject schedule, Focus To-Do.
Can video lessons stay available?
Yes. Keep your course app and hide everything else. If lessons are on YouTube, keep YouTube and hide the other feeds.
